The Destruction

Well here is the damage report,Horses, dogs,pigs, chickens all ok and still where they belong. Trees are not so good, 5 are down for the count. Barn roof  is now definitely in need of help. The pig house total destruction makes me think of the three little pigs and the wolf relly blew it down. Even funner is that aranold ( the pig) dug a hole under it and is still using it for shelter. Poor guy.  Also missing in action is 1 barral where it is i have no idea.  The wind also took out half of my wind break. so when ever the wind decides to let up a little i have lots of clean up to do.O ya also have water in the basement and shingles on the house are trying to leave the country. Also the swing set was blown over the hill. Im going to have to wait for my muscle to come home to help me get it back up  How the fun never ends Don't we just love windstorms on the good side everyone is safe and nothing major is damaged.

Loving the rain but wished it would let up long enough so i could exorcize some horses. Alex was home sick again she was very disappointed, because the school took all the children with good attendance through out the year to see the new shriek at the movie house. She was very bummed she missed it. Hoping she will start to feel better. On a positive note my sister is moving to eastern montana. I am so looking forward to her being closer. Im also praying for her and bobby to get good job when they get her.

Today was a great day. The girls and i went to church it was a great service. When we got home with the lovely wind we all took a nap that was great.  When we got up the wind went down a little. So we went riding the older girls did great they even practiced there barrel pattern they did very well. Im hoping they will be ready to go ride at the barral race on the  5th of june lets hope they will be ready.

Rain Rain & Naughty Little Pigs

Im loving the moisture Lord knows we need it. How ever i was looking forward to working horses before the rain but i woke up to the rain a good and bad thing.  So because of the rain the girls and I stayed in side today and got some much needed organization done. Also some laundry.  How ever we did get some excitement around her today. The lovely wind and pigs picking at the gate, it blew open that was fun i just happen to see it when it happened. THank the heavens for big windows.  I went out and yelled at them and said  "get your little ass's back in you pin" and three of the went back. Amazing i never thought that would work, but ill take it. THen Irene and Ken helped me get the last two little buggers back in there pin.  They had to take a tour around the horse corrals but they went back in with out too much more excitement. So no i have chained and tied the darn gate shut. What would we do without a little excitement in my life.

New Horse

Hello to all its been a while since i posted SORRy. Life has been great around here. My pigs are growing like weeds. We also have gotten a bore he is so friendly our neighbors up the road sold him to us they where getting our of the pig business. My baby chick are not babies any more they are now out side ( thank heavens) growing like crazy i think i  only have 3 or 4 roosters though. O well thats the way that goes.  I have been riding some not as much as i should so i have decide to get my but out the door with the kids so when they leave on the bus i go ride. So far it is working.
The girls and i went for a trip on saturday with the new horse trailer. It was a nice trip we went and spent the day with Candy Jo. She was kind enough toilet Alex ride her Tex baby. She is loving riding him and just taking care of him. She grooms him and loves him every day as much as she can i think he is the most groomed horse in the state. He is so sweet to her he even puts his head down she she cant put his halter on. So i have a BIG BIG THANKS to Candy. YOu are such a sweet heat to let us use Tex i know he is your baby. You are also an answer to my prayers.  I  will try and get some pics to post of them together. Angelica has now decide she in-joys riding she has been riding silver so now her and mersadies fight over who rides first. The plus side is she get two girls to love and groom her she loves that. They both go out and love her all the time she even got her main braided he other day.  I think the lord for such sweet horses for my girls to learn on everyday.
I am hoping to get to a barrel race next month.Auston volunteered to go with me. So i cant wait to go it should be a blast. I am hoping that the girls will be ready to ride as well.I think they will if they keep up the hard work , and keep up there determination they will be.

We had a great day today. We went to church. It was a nice service, but cant wait for the paster to come. He is suppose to be there the first week on may.  When we got home it was so nice out and NO WIND my prayers were answered. AMEN.  Irene and I went for a ride it was a great ride. When we got back my mom was here it was so nice to visit her. She had to come see the baby's. She also took us out for dinner. Thanks again mom it was good eating. I really enjoyed spending time with her. The girls also rode today they love that pony so much i think that little turkey loves them to. The baby pigs are settling in nice they should be crawling in my lap in no time im sure. THe kids just love watching them. SInce we have gotten baby chicks and pigs its amazing how much the kids and i just sit and watch them. THey are so fascinating, its so fun to watch them just be there selfs.

Hello to all i thought i would drop you a line. Its been a while since my last update. We have had a very buzzy month.  I have decided to add some work to my long list of work already before easter i bought my self some chicks i for sure have 6 hens and we will see how many more there are. I bought 15 mixed so we will see how may are hens and how many are roosters. I am looking for word to fresh eggs. Then today we have really become our own little farm i bought some baby pigs 4 boys and 1 girl. We are going to find a little bore and have our own litters some to butcher and some to sell. This year i bout four little cut boys to butcher. Irene and Ken are going to buy one and we will see about the others we do enjoy pork so i know they will not go to waste. The little girl we are going to keep and bred i am looking forward to this new adventure.  I have lots to learn and lots to do but it should be nice and fun. Irene knows lots its a good thing she is here to help teach me the ropes.

Today was a very crazy day we went to williston. We got pictures taken that went very well, well the pictures. When well when we finally got in i swear people need to learn some costumer service not my fault the new lady did not book things right. Then we got grocery for easter weekend. Then we went to tractor supply and got grain and horse stuff. Then I decided that I am going to give chickens a go and i bought 21 total chickens, 6 hens for sure and we will see how many more we get and how many we eat. Sorry roosters!! Lela made it over she beet us to the house my dad did not make it but Mike and Dusty made it up they will e over tomorrow they are stay with mom tonight.

well today was a fun day i went riding its such a nice ride after that mersadies and lilly rode silver. It was a beautiful day today after the rain stopped. The nice shower was a blessing. My yard is starting to green up now. Im still praying for more rain though my pasture really needs lots more rain so it will grow.

Cleaning house and doing laundry getting ready for easter we are going to have a house full of family it will a great weekend.  Auston aunt Lela is also coming that should be fun its been a while since we have seen her. 

Today has been a great day we started it out buy attended church in wolf point. Not sure if we like it or not but it was a very nice church with very nice people. They are expecting to get there new paster he will be there for easter service and then he will be back in may and be there all the time so we will have to try there again and see how it goes. The people where so nice there and so welcoming it was also nice to have several kids the girls age there as well i think they enjoyed there selfs. After church Irene and i went riding. It was such a beautiful day for it. It as 64 here today with only a small breeze. It was definitely great riding weather. After we rode the kids all rode Silver and they had a blast. That pony will definitely teach them a lot of things. Alex even managed to saddle her all by her self. She is getting so big so fast. After working horses Ken, Irene and I Hung a new gate in the barn. So how many Suttons dose it take to hang a gate LOL. It has been a great blessed day today the little girls are definitely ready for bed and the older two are ready for school tomorrow. So lets hope for early bed tonight. Ya right. LOL

Hello to all  I hope you had  as great of a day as i did. It was another windy day blah but it finally went down yippee. I  went to Culbertson to get Lilly back form grandma she was happy to come for another visit. We are going to have a buzzy day tomorrow we are going to try and find a church to start going to. I am so look forward to finding a new church it should be fun and exciting. Then lets hope the weather is nice im going o go riding and the girls are going to practice there barrel pattern.

Hello to all today was a great day Irene and i got lots done in the morrning we but up electric fence around the corral for some leanning horses then we got two gates moved ( man those where heavey or im weak). By the time we got done with that the wind turned on and we where very happy we had got our jobs finished. Then i got a wounderful call and Judy and Mary Jo stopped by for a vist it was so great to see them and visit. It was great to catch up for sure.  It was a great day now if spring would just stick around i think the wind is blowing of an ice burg.  I had a call form a friend today and she told me  she is pregnet with her first great news but the bad part she had an ultrasound and found out her baby has some defects so they have many tests to do to find out how severe they are to find out how bad so my prayers go out to her and her husband to help guide them through this trying time in there life and give them the strings to handle what comes there why. I also pray that there baby will be ok and they will all get throught this god willing. 

Hello to everyone this fine eavning i hope you all had happy Saint Pattys day. I hope you all had your share of cornbeef. We did not have any we had that meal on sunday when Auston and Ken where home. The little girls had a buzy day they both played outside most of the day. It was s lovely day it was 61 her with the wind blowin but still so nice.I think spring has shown up for a few days any way.  There is snow forcasted for Friday but warm weather after that I hope. We got some bad news today a little girl that the girls road the bus with fell in the river on suday when she went out to walk her dogs. She was a very sweet girl she will b missed and our prayers go out to her family.  We also pray that she will be found soon to give her family clouser. My little brother has been her helping do some work around the place. He still has not had luck finding a job he has been waiting to here form douglas so tell then i have lots for him to do he has been my hired man i guess you could say. He will be heading home on Friday and come back for easter when auston comes home.  Tomarrow he is going to finish painting my livingroom for me since i still can not do it maybe someday the sholder will be better maybe.  well have a great evening.
